Legalizations
When you receive a power of attorney or other statement from a notary to sign, it usually needs to be legalized.
Legalization of your signature means that a notary public establishes that you did indeed sign the document yourself and that your signature is on the declaration/proxy. This will prevent subsequent disagreements about the authenticity of your signature
You do not need to make an appointment to legalize your signature, just bring the document you will be signing and a valid ID.
